Senior Internal Auditor – Global Internal Audit Team

About the role

This position joins Crown Holdings' Global Internal Audit team, providing independent assurance on the company's control framework and supporting continuous improvement across Signode entities worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Perform financial, operational and compliance audits of plants, projects and systems in line with the Internal Audit Plan.
• Apply GAAP, IFRS, COSO and IIA standards, and conduct SOX testing of internal controls over financial reporting.
• Execute walkthroughs of business and IT processes, document findings and identify improvement opportunities.
• Prepare workpapers, walkthrough documentation and draft audit reports with actionable recommendations.
• Monitor audit progress, meet assigned due dates and communicate status to the audit manager.
• Follow up on remediation action plans and provide timely updates to business units.
• Engage with stakeholders across functions and geographies to enhance the internal control environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or Management.
• Chartered Accountant with 4‑6 years of experience in public accounting or internal audit, preferably in a large manufacturing company.
• Additional certifications such as CIA, CFE or CISA are highly desirable.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Hands‑on experience using Power BI for data analysis and reporting.
• Understanding of IT General Controls and experience with ITGC testing.
