Entity Accountant

About the role

Eastman's Finance & Controlling team in Hyderabad is looking for an Entity Accountant to manage the full set of accounts for EMEA and APR entities, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and local accounting standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage full sets of accounts in accordance with US GAAP and applicable local GAAP.
• Oversee month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end closing processes, including quality reviews.
• Prepare accurate statutory financial reports.
• Coordinate and liaise with external auditors as required.
• Ensure compliance with international accounting standards and internal policies.
• Support strategic initiatives and ad‑hoc financial tasks.
• Maintain adherence to quality, environmental, health and safety requirements.

Required profile

• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Pro‑active, flexible mindset with a “can‑do” attitude.
• Strong accounting knowledge and ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
• Good interpersonal, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to make sound independent judgments.

Required skills

• US GAAP and local GAAP knowledge.
• Proficiency in SAP.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with PowerPoint and Power BI.
