Senior Hub Accountant

About the role

Wilhelmsen is seeking a Senior Hub Accountant to lead accounting, reporting, and tax compliance for multiple legal entities in Mumbai. You will ensure accurate financial governance while coordinating with tax authorities, auditors, and internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Execute complex accounting, reporting and reconciliation activities for assigned entities.
• Manage GST/VAT, TDS, Transfer Pricing, WHT, Corporate Income Tax and other statutory obligations.
• Support period‑end close, ensure timely and accurate financial outputs.
• Coordinate audits, regulatory reviews and remediation actions.
• Identify and drive process improvement, automation and standardisation initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• Significant experience in accounting, financial reporting, compliance or financial analysis.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and attention‑to‑detail skills.
• Excellent communication and ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
