Senior HR Generalist & Business Partner

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior HR Generalist who will also act as an HR Business Partner for a fast‑growing AI & Data Science media platform in India. The role is fully onsite in Bellandur, Bangalore and requires a business‑oriented professional to support the organization’s growth, employee experience and workforce effectiveness.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the complete employee lifecycle from onboarding through exit, ensuring accurate execution of joining formalities, transfers, promotions, confirmations and separations.
• Maintain employee records, HR documentation and data in the HRMS, and coordinate with payroll and finance for timely payroll processing.
• Ensure compliance with internal HR policies, statutory requirements and continuously improve HR SOPs and processes.
• Partner with business leaders and functional heads to understand workforce needs, provide HR solutions, and act as a trusted advisor on people‑related matters.
• Support workforce planning, manpower budgeting, organisational restructuring and succession planning.
• Provide HR insights using people analytics and metrics, and identify and mitigate people‑related risks.
• Build strong employee relationships, handle grievances, disciplinary actions and drive engagement initiatives.

Required profile

• 6–10 years of experience in HR operations, employee lifecycle management, talent management and HR business partnering.
• Proven ability to act as a trusted HR advisor to managers and senior leaders.
• Strong understanding of HR policies, statutory compliance and HRMS administration.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills with a focus on employee experience.
