Senior HR & Employee Relations Manager – Samri Bauxite Mine

About the role

The Senior HR & Employee Relations Manager will lead the implementation of organisational development initiatives, HR systems and processes at the Samri Bauxite Mine. The role supports the mine team in delivering training, performance management, statutory compliance and employee welfare programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate and monitor OD interventions, HR system roll‑outs and related processes across the mine.
• Design and deliver training workshops, vocational programmes and contractor training calendars.
• Lead communication sessions to raise awareness of new HR initiatives such as organisational health surveys and welfare measures.
• Oversee the performance appraisal cycle, goal‑setting, feedback and reward & recognition programmes.
• Manage statutory return filing, wage and salary administration, bonus distribution and provision of PPE, uniforms and safety equipment.
• Support manpower planning, employee relocation and optimisation in coordination with industrial engineering.
• Address employee and worker grievances promptly, conducting on‑site visits and providing resolutions.
• Coordinate CSR activities, community health camps and medical monitoring for all staff.

Required profile

• Proven experience in HR and employee relations within an industrial or mining environment.
• Strong knowledge of organisational development, training delivery and performance management processes.
• Familiarity with statutory compliance, wage administration and manpower planning.
• Ability to handle grievance redressal and coordinate CSR and medical initiatives.
