Senior Hardware Design Engineer – Consumer Electronics

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Hardware Design Engineer to lead the development of consumer‑electronics hardware. You will work within Bosch’s Indian technology hub, delivering robust microcontroller boards and associated circuitry for next‑generation products.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop microcontroller boards, analog and digital circuits, and power‑supply modules (Buck, Boost, LDO, Flyback).
• Create motor‑control circuits for BDC, BLDC and stepper motors.
• Define and integrate communication interfaces such as SPI, I2C, UART, USB and Ethernet.
• Perform schematic capture and PCB layout using Altium, ORCAD or Mentor Graphics.
• Select components, prepare BOMs, conduct thermal analysis and SPICE simulations.
• Ensure EMI/EMC compliance and produce layout guidelines and design reviews.
• Lead board bring‑up, testing, troubleshooting and system‑level validation for consumer applications.
• Document hardware design data sheets, test plans and reports.

Required profile

• 5‑9 years of experience in hardware design for consumer electronics.
• BE/B‑Tech/ME/MTech in Electrical, Electronics or Instrumentation.
• Proven ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and communicate technical information clearly.
