Senior Group Manager – ERP CoE Quality

About the role

Airbus is seeking a visionary Senior Group Manager to lead the ERP Center of Excellence Quality function within its Digital Center in Bangalore. The role is responsible for end‑to‑end quality management of the ERP ecosystem, ensuring that every release – from large‑scale SAP S/4HANA migrations to local enhancements – meets global standards of reliability and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Quality India Product Service Line group, fostering an inclusive “Quality First” culture aligned with Airbus values.
• Champion the ERP transformation roadmap for Quality Management, translating technical processes into clear business value.
• Act as trusted advisor to VP/SVP‑level stakeholders, securing alignment on quality gates and release road‑maps.
• Own validation and deployment stability for all applications in the ERP India Quality portfolio.
• Direct multi‑disciplinary teams and partner factories through the full process validation lifecycle, including UAT.
• Drive “Shift‑Left” validation strategies to catch defects early in design.
• Collaborate with the Platform Leader to maintain a highly automated release pipeline.
• Oversee Test Data Management and ensure compliance with export control, security, and data‑sovereignty regulations.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in ERP quality or similar large‑scale digital transformation environments.
• Strong track record of stakeholder management at executive level.
• Demonstrated ability to build high‑performance, inclusive teams.
• Deep understanding of end‑to‑end application delivery and validation processes.
