Senior Frontend Engineer

About the role

The Micro Frontend Platform team builds highly scalable, customer‑facing user interfaces that power critical experiences across Coupang’s ecosystem. This pure frontend engineering role focuses on delivering high‑quality, performant UI for large‑scale consumer applications. You will work closely with product and backend teams to create seamless user journeys.

Key responsibilities

• Build scalable, high‑performance user interfaces using React and modern frontend frameworks.
• Develop reusable components and modular UI architectures to ensure consistency across large systems.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally to deliver intuitive, seamless experiences for high‑impact B2C products.
• Optimize for low latency, fast rendering, and responsiveness in high‑traffic environments.
• Own end‑to‑end frontend systems, driving performance, reliability, and engineering excellence.

Required profile

• 4–7 years of frontend engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and modern frameworks such as React or Vue.js.
• Experience building customer‑facing B2C web applications at scale.
• Understanding of UI development principles, component‑based architecture, and design systems.
• Experience with Node.js for frontend/backend integration.
