Senior Executive, Regulatory Affairs

About the role

AirAsia's India branch is hiring a Senior Executive for its Regulatory department, based in Delhi/Gurugram. The role ensures the airline complies with aviation regulations, statutory requirements and government policies in India, supporting regulatory approvals, licensing, audits, compliance monitoring and engagement with aviation authorities so that operations remain uninterrupted.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with DGCA, BCAS, AAI, Ministry of Civil Aviation and other authorities' regulations, circulars and directives, and monitor changes in aviation law and their operational impact.
• Support implementation of regulatory policies and internal compliance procedures, and maintain compliance records and documentation.
• Coordinate applications, renewals, amendments and approvals for operating permits, licenses and certifications; prepare and submit documentation to authorities and track pending approvals.
• Ensure timely renewal of statutory licenses and operational certificates.
• Coordinate regulatory inspections and audits by DGCA, BCAS and others, support preparation of audit documentation, and monitor corrective and preventive actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in Regulatory Affairs, Corporate Affairs or Government Relations.
• Excellent written and verbal English; other languages are a plus.
• High level of confidentiality and professionalism.
