Senior Executive – Payments & Merchant Acquiring

About the role

Bajaj Finance Ltd. is expanding its QR acquiring business and seeks a Senior Executive to build and lead the operation in a defined territory. You will recruit, train and manage a field sales team, drive QR, SB and POS/EDC deployments, and grow merchant relationships to generate transaction volume and GMV.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, train and motivate Field Operations Staff (FOS) and ensure high productivity.
• Acquire new merchants and lead QR, SB and POS/EDC deployments.
• Develop distribution channels, map coverage and manage channel relationships.
• Drive sales targets, retailer payment reconciliation and monthly store activation.
• Collaborate with partners on sales promotions and maintain process rigor and controllership.

Required profile

• Graduation or MBA with 2‑4 years of relevant experience (MBA 1‑4 years or Graduate 3‑6 years acceptable).
• Prior exposure to payments, FMCG or telecom prepaid sales.
• Experience handling merchant relationships directly.
• Strong communication, interpersonal skills and high energy for field work.
• Self‑starter with a passion for meeting retailers.
