Senior Executive – Hub Operations

About the role

The Senior Executive – Hub Operations leads end‑to‑end mid‑mile activities at an assigned Air or Surface hub, ensuring shipments move smoothly across the Blue Dart network. Reporting to the Head – Hub Operations, you will coordinate inbound, outbound and transit processes, manage fleet movements and optimise manpower to meet network schedules and service commitments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily hub operations, overseeing inbound, outbound and transit shipment flow while adhering to SOPs and network schedules.
• Plan and adjust hub activities based on shipment volumes, priorities and resource availability.
• Monitor loading, unloading, scanning and dispatch activities to guarantee shipment accuracy and timely delivery.
• Coordinate vehicle placement, dock operations and fleet movements to minimise turnaround times.
• Manage operational exceptions, delays, misroutes and communicate recovery actions to relevant stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Aviation, Surface Linehaul, Network Operations and Regional teams to ensure network connectivity and service reliability.
• Support the Head – Hub Operations in achieving productivity, quality and safety targets.

Required profile

• Proven experience in hub or mid‑mile logistics operations, preferably in air or surface freight environments.
• Strong understanding of safety, compliance and productivity standards in a logistics hub.
• Ability to lead shift teams, deploy manpower effectively and make data‑driven operational decisions.
• Excellent coordination skills with cross‑functional teams such as Aviation, Linehaul and Customer Service.
