Supply Chain Inventory Planner

About the role

The Supply Chain Inventory Planner ensures the availability, accuracy, and strategic management of spare parts and materials needed to support Schneider Electric’s Solar Utility Scale service operations, acting as the single point of contact for supply chain within the assigned region.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the entire order management cycle, converting purchase requisitions into purchase orders, tracking status and coordinating deliveries with service teams.
• Act as the Supply Chain Single Point of Contact for local service operations, developing a deep understanding of preventive maintenance schedules and associated spare‑parts requirements.
• Monitor and control inventory levels at the service centre, establish safety‑stock parameters and propose corrective actions to optimise working capital and warehouse efficiency.
• Manage large‑volume preventive‑maintenance orders up to one year in advance and align regional planning with global supply‑chain objectives.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in supply‑chain planning, inventory management or service operations, preferably in industrial, energy or field‑service environments.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, complex formulas) and strong data orientation with the ability to analyse ERP systems such as NetSuite or Oracle.
• Excellent communication, strong planning and prioritisation, and the capacity to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy.
• Proactive, solutions‑oriented mindset with a proven record of continuous‑improvement initiatives.
