Senior Engineer / Assistant Manager – Supplier Quality Management

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Engineer / Assistant Manager to lead supplier quality management for Bosch’s manufacturing network in India. The role will drive supplier compliance, continuous improvement and operational excellence across our supply base, supporting product development and safe part launches.

Key responsibilities

• Lead supplier quality performance improvement initiatives using audits, supplier development and continuous improvement methods.
• Ensure suppliers meet regulatory, customer and Bosch standards for quality, cost and delivery.
• Conduct on‑site audits and performance monitoring at supplier locations throughout India.
• Develop supplier capabilities and process maturity to foster long‑term strategic partnerships.
• Support Bosch PT plants worldwide in product development and safe launch of supplier‑provided parts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Production Engineering (full‑time). Other engineering degrees considered with relevant knowledge.
• 8–10 years of experience in Supplier Quality Assurance within consumer, electrical or related industries.
• Proven ability to travel extensively to supplier sites and manage cross‑functional projects.

Required skills

• Supplier quality management and audit techniques.
• Continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
• Understanding of regulatory and customer quality requirements.
