Senior Engineer / Assistant Manager – Process Engineer (Grinding Specialist)

About the role

As a Senior Engineer / Assistant Manager in Process Engineering, you will support the design, testing and optimisation of new or existing grinding manufacturing processes at Bosch's Nashik facility.

Key responsibilities

• Design and conduct trials for new grinding processes or modifications to existing ones.
• Collect data, monitor process variables and evaluate performance against QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery) targets.
• Identify and resolve technical issues during MAE try‑out, commissioning and process establishment.
• Prepare reports and documentation summarising development activities and results.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve OEE, design quick‑change fixtures and implement poka‑yoke solutions.
• Stay updated on industry trends, digital technologies and automation relevant to process development.

Required profile

• Proven experience in manufacturing process engineering, preferably with grinding operations.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and drive data‑based decisions.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Good communication skills for reporting and cross‑functional collaboration.
