Senior Engineer / Assistant Manager – Complaint Management

About the role

Bosch Automotive Electronics India Pvt. Ltd. (RBAI) in Bengaluru is seeking a Senior Engineer / Assistant Manager to lead complaint management and quality assurance for electronic and PCB products.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure purchasing quality assurance of electronics and PCBs and handle defects.
• Plan, execute, and oversee inspection and testing of products to verify conformance with specifications.
• Investigate product complaints, identify root causes, and report quality issues within cross‑functional teams.
• Initiate permanent corrective actions and document defect analysis using 8D reports.
• Manage safe launch inspection processes for new parts to ensure incident‑free launches.
• Release new parts by reviewing engineering drawings, performing in‑house measurements and correlating with supplier data.
• Participate in Process FMEA, process audits and supplier assessments.
• Monitor KPIs related to complaint management and define measures to achieve targets.
• Promote continuous improvement techniques such as Six‑Sigma and Poka‑Yoke.

Required profile

• B.E. in Electronics or Electrical Engineering.
• Proven experience in quality assurance for automotive electronics.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively within cross‑functional teams.
