Senior DevOps Engineer – Automation & CI/CD

About the role

CGI is looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join its Bangalore/Chennai team. The role focuses on building and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines, supporting Contact Center applications, and collaborating with AI specialists to embed intelligent solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain automated pipelines using GitHub Actions, Azure Data Factory and Databricks.
• Create and manage Helm charts for Kubernetes‑based deployments.
• Build and maintain SQL data pipelines and workflows.
• Use Maven to manage Java dependencies and build processes.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand‑ups and retrospectives.
• Work with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Support BAU projects and conduct intake design and assessments for Contact Center applications.
• Collaborate with the AI team to integrate AI capabilities into Contact Center solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands‑on DevOps experience, preferably in a senior or lead capacity.
• Proven ability to work in Agile environments and communicate effectively with cross‑functional teams.
• Experience with Contact Center technologies and AI adoption is essential.
