Senior Consultant – Process Optimization

About the role

AVEVA is seeking a Senior Consultant to join its Process Optimization team in Hyderabad. The role focuses on delivering consulting solutions that implement Real‑Time Optimization, USC Planning/Scheduling, and Yield Accounting tools for refineries and petro‑chemical plants.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure and implement Real‑Time Optimization models for refinery and plant operations.
• Build and deploy Planning and Scheduling models using state‑of‑the‑art USC tools.
• Create Reconciliation and Yield Accounting models leveraging product accounting software.
• Collaborate with regional consultants and sales teams to deliver technical solutions on time and within budget.
• Perform technical analysis, model testing, and on‑site commissioning of optimization applications.
• Support solution sales through presentations, proposals, and benefit analyses.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum 6 years of professional experience, including at least 4 years in refinery or relevant consulting roles.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Team‑player attitude and ability to work collaboratively across regions.
