Senior CAD Engineer – Interior Cabin Trims

About the role

The Senior CAD Engineer will create and maintain CATIA V5/V6 models for interior cabin trim components in automotive projects. You will work closely with design, engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure high‑quality, manufacturable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop CAD geometry and detailed drawings for pillar trims, scuff plates and related interior components.
• Maintain up‑to‑date CAD data reflecting required maturity levels throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide CAD support, drive design progress, and meet program timelines.
• Check interfaces, clearances and manufacturing feasibility, escalating unresolved issues to the Team Lead.
• Ensure all project deliverables are completed on schedule.

Required profile

• Extensive experience with CATIA V5 and preferably CATIA V6.
• Proven track record delivering interior‑cabin trim projects in the automotive sector.
• Strong knowledge of component design, function, performance and production requirements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work across multiple teams.
