Senior AWS DevOps & Platform Engineer (6-9 Years)

About the role

Fractal is looking for a senior engineer to own the design, implementation and operation of CI/CD pipelines on AWS. You will work closely with development teams to automate deployments, enforce infrastructure‑as‑code standards and ensure high reliability of our platform services.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using AWS DevOps tools (CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, etc.).
• Configure and manage build agents, release pipelines and automation scripts for end‑to‑end deployment.
• Apply Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices with Terraform or ARM templates to provision and manage AWS resources.
• Manage source code repositories in Git, define branching strategies and support code‑merge processes.
• Set up automated testing, continuous integration and quality gates within the pipeline.
• Implement security best practices, conduct regular assessments and remediate vulnerabilities.
• Deploy monitoring, logging and tracing solutions to track application performance and system health.

Required profile

• 6‑9 years of hands‑on experience in AWS, DevOps and platform engineering.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and effective communication skills.
• Experience working in collaborative, high‑performing teams.

Required skills

• AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, etc.)
• Container orchestration with Kubernetes and Docker.
• CI/CD pipeline design and automation.
• Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or ARM templates.
• Version control with Git and branching strategies.
• Automated testing integration.
• Security and compliance practices for cloud environments.
• Monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, ELK, etc.).
