Senior Associate – Test Automation Engineer (Emerging Business)

About the role

PwC is looking for a Senior Associate to join its Emerging Business Advisory team in Bengaluru. You will help clients adopt cutting‑edge technologies by designing, building, and maintaining automated test solutions that ensure high‑quality software delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and integrate automated test scripts using Python and Playwright.
• Perform comprehensive API testing, validate data flows and outputs.
• Apply AI methodologies to improve testing accuracy and efficiency.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand system architecture and define test strategies.
• Identify, log, and track software defects, ensuring timely resolution.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing tools and processes.
• Maintain detailed documentation of test cases, results, and defect reports.
• Stay current with emerging trends in test automation and AI.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in Python‑based automation testing.
• 3+ years using Playwright for browser automation.
• 2–3 years of hands‑on API testing experience.
• Familiarity with applying AI techniques to testing challenges.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to work collaboratively in a senior‑associate capacity.
