Senior Associate – Government Technology Advisory

About the role

PwC is seeking a Senior Associate to join its Government and Public Sector Transformation Management practice in Mumbai. The role focuses on delivering IT and e‑Gov consulting services to federal, state and local government clients, helping them modernise operations, manage risk and create sustainable value.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and own end‑to‑end delivery of multiple government consulting engagements, including e‑Gov transformation, smart‑city and urban‑local‑body projects.
• Assess clients’ operational, security and data‑management strategies and recommend improvements.
• Collaborate with senior government officials across ministries and public sector units to define objectives and drive implementation.
• Prepare and present insights, risk analyses and actionable recommendations in client meetings.
• Support the development of innovative solutions that unlock data possibilities and optimise costs.

Required profile

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage senior government stakeholders.
• Demonstrated experience in Indian government consulting, e‑Gov initiatives, smart‑city or ULB projects.
• Proactive, self‑directed approach with ownership of project delivery.
• Understanding of the Indian business ecosystem and relevant public‑sector policies.
