Senior Associate – Automation Tester – Emerging Technologies – Advisory

About the role

Join PwC’s Emerging Technologies Advisory practice as a Senior Associate Automation Tester in Bengaluru. You will help clients identify, prioritize, and integrate emerging technologies to solve complex business challenges through robust test automation.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain UI and service automation scripts using Selenium (Java) and Robot Framework (Python).
• Validate and verify web services with SoapUI Pro and Groovy scripting.
• Contribute to test automation infrastructure by creating and enhancing test libraries.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and support DevOps practices.
• Collaborate in an Agile environment to troubleshoot and resolve software issues.

Required profile

• 5‑8 years of development or test automation experience (UI/Services).
• Graduate engineering or management degree.
• Strong Java programming skills and proficiency in at least one scripting language (Perl, Python, Shell).
• Hands‑on experience with UNIX/Linux/Windows environments; SQL knowledge is a plus.
• Understanding of internet technologies, distributed systems, TCP/IP networking, databases, and Linux kernel.
