Senior Analyst, Credit and Income

About the role

Altisource is seeking a Senior Analyst to lead quality control and income verification for US residential mortgage loans. The role involves reviewing pre‑funding and post‑closing documentation, identifying exceptions, and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform quality control on loan files both pre‑funding and post‑closing, confirming accuracy and completeness of all supporting documents.
• Review credit and income information, calculate employment, self‑employed, rental and other income sources, and flag any discrepancies or red‑flags.
• Analyze loan types including QM (Conventional, FHA, VA, USDA), non‑QM, portfolio and forensic reviews, and document entity structures.
• Record and report loan exceptions, maintain detailed logs, and communicate findings to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with at least 5 years of experience in US residential mortgage banking, QC, or prefunding.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a deadline‑intensive environment, and flexibility to work night shifts.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills, with a self‑motivated work ethic.
