Senior Accountant – GCC Operations

About the role

The Senior Accountant – GCC Operations will be based in Kochi and will manage end‑to‑end accounting and finance activities for multiple entities across the GCC region. The role works closely with finance teams in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain and Kuwait to ensure accurate reporting, robust controls and timely compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate accounting operations across GCC entities, including AP, AR, GL and bank reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate books, review entries, provisions, accruals and ensure timely month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end closes.
• Oversee VAT, corporate tax, withholding tax and other statutory filings in each GCC jurisdiction.
• Prepare periodic financial statements, consolidate data where required and produce MIS reports and management dashboards.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital and support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning.
• Liaise with local finance teams, tax consultants and regulatory advisors to address compliance changes.

Required profile

• 10+ years of accounting experience, preferably in GCC operations.
• Hands‑on experience with multi‑entity accounting, VAT/tax compliance and audit coordination.
• Familiarity with finance processes in the UAE and Saudi Arabia; exposure to other GCC markets is a plus.
• Ability to work with multiple currencies, regulatory environments and geographically distributed teams.
