Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Accountant to join our UAE‑focused back‑office team based in Kochi. The role involves handling a range of accounting, VAT and corporate tax tasks for multiple client accounts while ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain books of accounts and accounting records.
• Handle daily accounting transactions, reconciliations and bookkeeping.
• Assist with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax compliance.
• Prepare financial statements, schedules and audit documentation.
• Coordinate with clients, auditors and tax consultants.
• Identify discrepancies and ensure timely resolution.
• Support the team with accounting and financial reporting requirements.

Required profile

• CA Inter or ACCA qualified.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a CA, accounting, audit or UAE‑based firm.
• Good knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax.
• Strong accounting and bookkeeping skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Experience handling multiple client accounts is an advantage.
