Security SME (10+ Yrs, Multi-Cloud Lead, Immediate Joiner only)

About the role

We are looking for a Security Subject Matter Expert to lead multi‑cloud security initiatives across GCP environments in Pune and Bangalore. The role requires deep technical expertise, hands‑on experience, and the ability to translate complex security concepts into clear business‑aligned decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and govern security controls for GCP services such as Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, IAM, Cloud Functions, and Vertex AI.
• Document cloud architecture decisions, trade‑offs, and justifications in concise decision records.
• Establish and maintain cloud governance, guardrails, security policies, and cost‑management strategies.
• Configure and manage IAM roles, policies, and service accounts to ensure secure access.
• Apply security and compliance frameworks (CIS benchmarks, SOC 2, ISO 27001) to achieve a compliant architecture.
• Communicate architecture decisions to executive teams, board members, and regulatory bodies.
• Collaborate with developers, security experts, operations, and legal teams to ensure solutions meet business and regulatory requirements.
• Stay current with new GCP services and industry trends, applying learnings to improve security and efficiency.

Required profile

• 10–17 years of experience in cloud security, preferably with a focus on GCP.
• Proven track record of documenting and presenting architecture decisions.
• Strong understanding of cloud governance, cost management, and compliance frameworks.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with senior stakeholders.
