Security Officer – Full-time

About the role

We are seeking a diligent Security Officer to maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients and employees. The role involves monitoring premises, responding to incidents, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols. The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams and external emergency services.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol premises and monitor CCTV surveillance to deter unauthorized access, theft, vandalism and other illegal activities.
• Control access points, verify visitor identification and maintain accurate visitor logs.
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents and emergencies, coordinating with police, fire and medical personnel as needed.
• Prepare and submit detailed incident reports and daily activity logs.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, standard operating procedures and safety regulations.

Required profile

• Minimum graduate degree in any discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience in IT security or a related security role.
• Age between 21 and 40 years, physically fit and medically cleared.
• Clean criminal record.

Required skills

• High level of alertness and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to manage and respond to emergency situations effectively.
• Familiarity with basic security equipment such as CCTV systems and metal detectors.
