Security Officer

About the role

The Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for clients, employees, and visitors. This role involves active monitoring, rapid response to incidents, and coordination with external emergency services to protect the premises.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol premises and monitor CCTV surveillance to deter and detect unauthorized activities.
• Control access points, verify visitor identification, and maintain accurate visitor logs.
• Prevent theft, vandalism, and other illegal actions through proactive security measures.
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergencies, ensuring appropriate escalation.
• Prepare and submit detailed incident reports and daily activity logs.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, standard operating procedures, and safety protocols.
• Coordinate with police, fire departments, and emergency medical personnel when required.

Required profile

• Minimum graduate degree in any discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience in IT security or related security roles.
• Age between 21 and 40 years.
• Physically fit, medically cleared, and without a criminal background.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CCTV systems.
• Familiarity with metal detectors and basic security equipment.
