Security Guard

About the role

The Security Guard is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets. This role involves active monitoring, access control, and rapid response to emergencies across the premises.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and control entry and exit of employees, visitors, vendors, and vehicles.
• Conduct regular patrolling of the premises to deter unauthorized access and suspicious activities.
• Maintain vigilance over CCTV surveillance systems and report any irregularities.
• Verify identity cards, visitor passes, and manage gate entries while keeping accurate visitor and vehicle logs.
• Respond promptly to emergencies, alarms, fire incidents, or security breaches and assist with evacuation procedures.
• Safeguard company property, equipment, and assets from theft or damage, ensuring proper documentation of material movement.
• Enforce compliance with security policies, safety regulations, and maintain discipline within the premises.
• Maintain daily security logs, incident reports, attendance registers, and patrol reports.

Required profile

• Physically fit and alert with strong observation skills.
• Basic knowledge of security procedures and emergency response handling.
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Willingness to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
