Seasonal Food Service Employee – Part‑time

About the role

The Food Service Employee works at Lagoon’s concession stands and Group Foods Catering Area, preparing and serving food to guests. This is a seasonal, part‑time position that operates primarily in the afternoons and evenings.

Key responsibilities

• Operate concession stands and catering area in line with Lagoon policies.
• Prepare, serve, and present food items to guests.
• Maintain sanitation standards and keep the work area clean.
• Handle cash transactions, make change, and operate point‑of‑sale equipment.
• Work outdoors and adapt to varying weather conditions.
• Follow shift schedules, typically in the afternoon/evening.

Required profile

• Able to stand or walk for up to eight hours per shift.
• Must obtain a valid Davis County Food Handler’s Permit.
• Basic math skills for cash handling.
• Ability to work outdoors in changing weather.
• Age 16 years or older.
