SDR Team Manager (Night Shift) – Pune

About the role

The SDR Manager, based in Pune, leads a team of Sales Development Representatives dedicated to generating pipeline for OpenGov's US go‑to‑market team. This role owns performance, coaching, and day‑to‑day execution of the Pune SDR team, ensuring consistent, high‑quality outbound activity into the US public‑sector market.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coach a team of six SDRs to consistently hit pipeline and activity targets.
• Monitor individual and team metrics (calls, emails, meetings booked, pipeline generated) and conduct regular one‑on‑one meetings and performance reviews.
• Translate US GTM strategy and territory priorities into daily and weekly execution plans for the Pune team.
• Build onboarding, ramp plans, and ongoing skill‑development programs for new SDRs.
• Partner with US‑based Director of Sales Development and Account Executives to align lead quality, handoff process, and feedback loops.
• Ensure effective use of Salesforce, Outreach, and LinkedIn while maintaining clean, accurate reporting.
• Schedule shift coverage for US‑aligned hours and deliver regular performance updates to US leadership.

Required profile

• 6+ years of experience in sales development or outbound sales, with a proven track record managing SDR or BDR teams.
• Experience managing a team that supports a US market or works US‑aligned hours.
• Strong coaching skills and a data‑driven approach to pipeline and activity metrics.
• Excellent spoken and written English for communication with US leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; background in B2B SaaS, BPO, or government‑focused sales is a plus.
