Sales Development Representative (Night Shift)

About the role

OpenGov is seeking a Sales Development Representative to work the night shift from its Pune office. The SDR will act as the pipeline‑generation engine for the US go‑to‑market team, conducting high‑volume outbound outreach to government decision‑makers and qualifying leads for Account Executives.

Key responsibilities

• Run high‑volume outbound calls, emails and LinkedIn outreach into assigned US territories (cities, counties, special districts, state agencies).
• Work US‑aligned hours from Pune to engage decision‑makers in real time.
• Qualify inbound and outbound leads against OpenGov’s ideal customer profile and hand off sales‑ready opportunities.
• Maintain accurate activity records in Salesforce and manage pipeline using Outreach and LinkedIn.
• Collaborate with marketing to follow up on inbound and campaign‑generated leads.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of experience in SDR, sales or a customer‑facing role.
• Excellent spoken and written English with confidence to cold‑call US government officials.
• Willingness to work US‑aligned night‑shift hours from Pune.
• Curiosity about technology and AI’s impact on government.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
