SDR Manager – Night Shift (Pune)

About the role

The SDR Manager based in Pune leads a team of six Sales Development Representatives who generate pipeline for OpenGov’s US go‑to‑market organization. Working night‑shift hours aligned with the US market, the manager reports to a US‑based Director of Sales Development and translates strategy into daily execution.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, coach and develop a team of six SDRs to consistently meet pipeline and activity targets.
• Monitor individual and team metrics (calls, emails, meetings booked, pipeline generated) and conduct regular one‑on‑ones and performance reviews.
• Translate US GTM strategy and territory priorities into daily and weekly execution plans for the Pune team.
• Build onboarding, ramp‑up and ongoing skill‑development programs to accelerate new SDR productivity.
• Partner with US Director of Sales Development and Account Executives to align on lead quality, handoff processes and feedback loops.
• Ensure effective use of Salesforce, Outreach (or similar) and LinkedIn while maintaining clean reporting for leadership.
• Plan shift scheduling and coverage to support US‑aligned working hours and deliver regular performance updates to US leadership.

Required profile

• 6+ years of experience in sales development or outbound sales, with a proven track record managing SDR or BDR teams.
• Experience supporting a US market or working US‑aligned hours from an offshore location.
• Strong coaching abilities and a data‑driven approach to managing pipeline and activity metrics.
• Excellent spoken and written English for effective communication with US‑based stakeholders.
• Curiosity about technology’s role in government and ability to translate that into team coaching.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; background in B2B SaaS, BPO or government‑focused sales is a plus.
