SAP Production Consultant – Manufacturing (M/F/D)

About the role

Join a diverse global team at BASF to deliver critical SAP solutions for manufacturing. You will work on complex IT projects, focusing on the full lifecycle of SAP Production Planning (PP) and PP/PI across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Consult, implement, and support SAP PP & PP/PI solutions worldwide.
• Lead manufacturing workstreams in IT projects, from requirement engineering to post‑go‑live activities.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional designs, configurations, and master‑data setups.
• Collaborate closely with team members and knowledge‑sharing sessions.
• Identify and drive continuous improvements throughout each project.
• Take initiative, self‑organise tasks, and ensure successful delivery.

Required profile

• University degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Several years of IT consulting experience in production environments, preferably chemical or processing industry.
• Strong customer focus and excellent English communication skills.
• Ability to design and implement complex business requirements.
