Sales Officer – Health & Wellness FMCG

About the role

Araya is seeking an energetic and results‑driven Sales Officer to lead business growth in the Health & Wellness, Nutraceutical, and FMCG segments. The successful candidate will manage a defined territory, build strong relationships with distributors and retailers, and achieve ambitious sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets for the assigned territory.
• Appoint, train, and manage distributors, retailers, and channel partners.
• Increase product availability and visibility across General Trade, Modern Trade, and pharmacy channels.
• Conduct regular market visits to generate secondary sales and improve market penetration.
• Monitor competitor activities, pricing, schemes, and market trends.
• Execute promotional, branding, and merchandising initiatives effectively.
• Track stock movement and maintain optimal inventory levels at distributor points.
• Collect market feedback and provide insights to management.
• Prepare daily sales reports, beat plans, and market intelligence reports.
• Ensure timely collections and maintain healthy business relationships.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• 23 years of experience in FMCG, nutraceuticals, healthcare, Ayurveda, wellness, or consumer products.
• Strong knowledge of channel sales and distribution management.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building abilities.
• Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.
• Familiarity with the local market and retailer network is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
