Sales MIS Executive - Steel Industry

About the role

A steel manufacturing company in Pithampur, Madhya Pradesh is hiring one Sales MIS Executive. The role sits between field and inside sales teams and management, turning raw sales numbers, CRM entries and ERP sheets into clear reports, dashboards and growth insights. The advertised CTC is 3.00 to 3.60 LPA.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute daily, weekly and monthly sales trackers, funnel reports and achievement summaries.
• Track individual and regional sales quotas, order bookings, pipeline movement and sales incentives.
• Extract sales data from CRM systems, ERP tools or spreadsheets and ensure accuracy, with no errors, missing links or duplication.
• Build and maintain dynamic, interactive dashboards using Excel, Power BI or Tableau.
• Analyze why targets were missed or exceeded, highlighting top-performing regions, SKUs and sales representatives.
• Work with sales managers, finance and operations to resolve data discrepancies and support strategy meetings.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Computer Science, Statistics or a related field.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in sales analytics, business reporting or MIS operations.
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, strict deadline management and clear communication.

Required skills

• Advanced MS Excel: Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, Power Query, Macros/VBA and large datasets.
• Data visualization with Microsoft Power BI or Tableau.
• Working knowledge of SQL for data extraction.
• Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce, Zoho) and ERP systems.
