Sales Commercial Executive – Warehouse Management

About the role

The Sales Commercial Executive will oversee warehouse‑related sales activities, ensuring timely delivery of materials to dealers, project sites and other customers. This role bridges the sales, logistics and customer service functions to drive efficiency and resolve material service issues.

Key responsibilities

  • Review order cycle time (OCT) and benchmark delivery performance against defined targets.
  • Coordinate with customers and sales teams to identify and resolve material‑service issues.
  • Support Home Improvement and other business units with material storage and delivery planning.
  • Monitor and improve productivity of warehouse staff (CFA manpower) and conduct regular stock verification.
  • Maintain warehouse documentation, legal agreements and ensure statutory compliance.
  • Implement and optimise the Transport Management System (TMS) to improve route planning and customer service metrics.
  • Assess infrastructure needs, propose and execute CAPEX projects for warehouses and sales offices.
  • Assist regional commercial teams with overhead budgeting, freight‑cost monitoring and vendor payment processing.
  • Track statutory licences, update compliance portals and support internal and external audits (ISO, 5S, etc.).
  • Conduct safety audits and prepare monthly performance reports.

Required profile

  • Experience in warehouse management, logistics or sales support functions.
  • Strong understanding of order fulfilment, inventory control and vendor relations.
  • Ability to analyse performance data and drive process improvements.
  • Familiarity with statutory compliance and audit procedures.
  • Good communication skills for interaction with customers, sales teams and internal stakeholders.
