Sales & Business Development Manager – Factory Automation (Bangalore)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Sales & Business Development Manager to lead our Factory Automation product portfolio in Bangalore. You will drive growth through both existing and new channel partners, focusing on electric drive, control, linear and assembly technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales and business development strategies for factory automation (electric drive & control, linear technology, assembly technology) across the assigned zone.
• Achieve sales and distribution targets by expanding and managing a strong channel partner network, including distributors, system integrators, OEMs and end‑users.
• Implement financial discipline within the channel network, oversee policy deployment, and adjust territory alignments as needed.
• Conduct market intelligence and competitor analysis to shape aftermarket strategies and localized schemes.
• Identify and acquire new markets and accounts, increasing product penetration and breadth of distribution.
• Maintain a healthy pipeline of opportunities, monitor customer receivables and ensure timely collection.
• Prepare techno‑commercial offers in coordination with the technical team.
• Lead marketing and promotional activities such as loyalty and reward programs.

Required profile

• B.E. in Electrical & Electronics, Instrumentation or Mechatronics (or equivalent).
• 10‑15 years of relevant experience in industrial automation sales and channel partner management.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets in a B2B environment.
• Strong knowledge of factory automation products and market dynamics.
