Rust Developer – Media Streaming & OTT

About the role

We are looking for a Rust Developer to join our media streaming team and build high‑performance backend services for OTT platforms and set‑top box environments. The role focuses on delivering low‑latency, high‑throughput modules that power next‑generation media experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Rust.
• Build and optimise modules for media streaming and OTT platforms.
• Ensure code meets performance, security, reliability and scalability requirements.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate APIs and services.
• Debug and resolve performance issues across various environments.

Required profile

• Strong proficiency in Rust programming.
• Experience with system‑level programming and performance optimisation.
• Familiarity with media streaming technologies, OTT platforms and set‑top box environments.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs, networking concepts and multithreading.
• Good knowledge of Git for version control and collaborative development.
