Rooms Division Faculty – Hospitality Management

About the role

The International Institute of Hotel Management (IIHM) is seeking a full‑time Rooms Division Faculty to join its New Delhi campus. The role involves delivering high‑quality education in Rooms Division Management, combining classroom instruction with practical training and mentorship.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct lectures, workshops and hands‑on training sessions covering Front Office, Housekeeping and Hospitality Automation.
• Design and update curricula, lesson plans and assessment tools.
• Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Monitor industry trends and integrate innovative practices into teaching.
• Participate in research, workshops and professional development activities.
• Collaborate with academic colleagues to uphold and enhance IIHM’s educational standards.

Required profile

• Graduation in Hospitality Management (mandatory); Master’s degree preferred.
• 7‑15 years of experience in 5‑star hotel operations, with strong leadership and team‑handling abilities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a professional demeanor.
• Ability to think creatively, follow up diligently and work effectively in a team environment.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of Rooms Division operations, including Front Office, Housekeeping and Hospitality Automation.
• Experience in teaching, curriculum development and training hospitality students.
• Strong organizational, research and academic writing capabilities.
• Proficiency with industry‑standard technology and tools for Rooms Division management (a plus).
• International exposure or experience with global hotel chains (advantageous).
