Rolling Stock Interiors Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Rolling Stock Interiors Engineer to lead the design and development of interior components for railway vehicles. The role involves ensuring high‑quality, manufacturable solutions while meeting project timelines and customer requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Support design activities per project requirements, delivering quality on schedule.
• Participate in design and verification reviews and produce associated reports.
• Conduct internal quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency across deliveries.
• Technically lead projects, guide team members and interface with internal stakeholders and customers.
• Maintain process‑related documentation.
• Contribute to turn‑backs and root‑cause analyses.

Required profile

• 7–10 years of experience in mechanical design for rolling stock or related industries.
• Strong knowledge of sheet‑metal component design, material selection and mechanical properties.
• Ability to perform weight assessments, dimensional stack‑up and basic calculations on screwed assemblies.
• Experience analysing manufacturing non‑conformities and defining corrective solutions.
• Proven capability to lead technical projects and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
