Resident – Medical Services (Nursing)

About the role

Apollo Hospitals is seeking a Resident for Medical Services to join its nursing team. The role involves providing direct patient care, maintaining medical records, and supporting the multidisciplinary team in delivering high‑quality healthcare.

Key responsibilities

• Record patient medical history and symptoms accurately.
• Administer medications, treatments, and point‑of‑care tests.
• Collaborate with doctors, therapists, and support staff to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Conduct nursing assessments and monitor patients’ health status.
• Provide bedside care, education, and emotional support to patients and families.
• Maintain inventory of medical supplies and ensure proper operation of medical equipment.
• Participate in regular in‑service education and training sessions.

Required profile

• Graduate with 1st division in 10th, 12th and a nursing qualification (GNM, BSc Nursing or M.Sc Nursing).
• 3 months to 5 years of relevant nursing experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and handle patient interactions with empathy.
