Research Associate (India)

About the role

Sanford C. Bernstein's premier research platform is looking for Research Associates in Mumbai, India. Its industry teams are typically only two or three people, so associates have a high level of responsibility and are empowered to make an important contribution.

Key responsibilities

• Work with Senior Analysts, who are seasoned industry experts, to acquire expertise in the research sector
• Analyse industries and companies in depth
• Learn rigorous financial analysis and build complex financial models
• Contribute to the firm's written research products
• Build relationships with company management, as well as sales, trading and institutional clients

Required profile

• Track record of outstanding academic performance, including honors and awards; academic credentials typically in the 90th percentile or above
• Broad-based analytical skills and strong quantitative background
• Intellectual curiosity and a drive to excel
• Verbal and written communication skills
• Team player who thrives in a rigorous, collegial environment
