Remote Salesforce Engineer

About the role

DXC Luxoft is hiring a Salesforce Engineer for a remote position in India. The role leads the design and architecture of complex Salesforce implementations, working closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver scalable, secure and high-performance solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design end-to-end Salesforce solutions using Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud and custom development on the Salesforce Platform.
• Translate business requirements into technical architecture and high-level design, following best practices for security, performance and scalability.
• Provide governance and architectural oversight across multiple projects and teams, and lead technical discussions with developers and consultants.
• Define integration strategies with external systems and data sources.
• Mentor junior developers and admins and stay up to date on Salesforce features and technologies.
• Assist in developing Apex classes, triggers, Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Visualforce pages, and take part in requirement analysis, sprint planning and code reviews.
• Support custom objects, fields, workflows and validation rules, and collaborate with QA and business users on testing and debugging.
• Document technical specifications and solutions.

Required profile

• Experience level of 4 to 5+ years.
• Strong proficiency in Apex, SOQL/SOSL and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce configuration (Flows, Objects, Page Layouts) and with Sales Cloud / Service Cloud.
• Knowledge of Salesforce APIs, integration patterns and the security model (roles, profiles, sharing rules).
• Experience with Git and CI/CD tools, and strong debugging and performance optimization skills.
• Nice to have: advanced Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer II, Integration Architect, Application Architect), Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Voice CPQ, MuleSoft, Agile/Scrum, test automation (Selenium, Provar, Apex test classes), and industry experience such as banking, telecom, retail or healthcare.
