Remote Accountant – Corporate Tax & VAT Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Accountant to join Al Daqiq Accounting and Tax Consultant on a full‑time remote basis. The role focuses on corporate tax, VAT registration and filing, as well as core accounting functions for a diverse client base.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare corporate tax returns and manage VAT registration applications and filings.
• Record daily accounting transactions using the company’s accounting software and ERP system.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
• Perform bank and other account reconciliations on a regular basis.
• Support senior accounting staff with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and general ledger management.
• Experience with account reconciliation and AP/AR processes.
• Excellent analytical, organizational and time‑management abilities.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
