Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a diligent Accountant to join our finance team. The role involves managing day‑to‑day accounting activities, supporting senior staff, and ensuring accurate financial documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain daily accounting records, ledgers, invoices, receipts, and payment entries.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, processing vendor and customer transactions.
• Prepare and verify sales and purchase invoices.
• Perform bank, cash, and ledger reconciliations.
• Assist with GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance requirements.
• Monitor outstanding receivables and payables and follow up as needed.
• Support monthly financial reporting and account closing activities.
• Coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, and clients regarding financial transactions.
• Provide administrative support to senior management and the accounting team.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 1–2 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and statutory documentation.
• Strong numerical, analytical, and attention‑to‑detail abilities.
• Effective communication and organizational skills.
