Release Lead – Digital Banking Technology

About the role

As a Release Lead in the Banker Digital Experience (BDX) Tech Area, you will drive the delivery of cross‑platform releases that enable bankers to provide better financial services to customers. You will work in an Agile environment, collaborating with product owners, engineers and delivery leads across multiple squads.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Release Management as a service to the Tribe, coaching squads and ensuring successful implementation.
• Adopt and leverage the Agile Release Train to enable a cadenced delivery regime.
• Plan, promote and communicate releases for the Customer Service Platform (CSP).
• Develop and embed release engineering practices to optimise value flow.
• Track and resolve impediments during and after releases.
• Drive continuous improvement of the release management framework.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering cross‑Tribe releases using Agile methodologies.
• In‑depth knowledge of delivery frameworks and change‑management processes.
• Ability to create and maintain high‑level release plans, accounting for dependencies and risks.
• Understanding of DevOps concepts and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with integration testing across platforms and tribes.
