About the role

The Regional Sales Manager will lead the unsecured‑self‑employed loan portfolio across Kanpur, driving loan disbursements, profitability and customer satisfaction. This position focuses on short‑ and medium‑term working capital solutions for individuals, professionals and businesses without collateral.

Key responsibilities

• Operationalise loan transactions and manage end‑to‑end customer interactions within the assigned region.
• Identify and nurture referral relationships, local occupations and trade networks to generate high‑quality leads.
• Monitor loan performance, enforce stringent controls and ensure portfolio health to minimise delinquency.
• Achieve regional targets for loan book size, profitability and growth while maintaining competitive loan rates.
• Collaborate with appraisal teams to assess creditworthiness and determine appropriate loan structures.

Required profile

• Proven experience in retail‑focused financial products, preferably unsecured lending.
• Strong understanding of regional market dynamics, local financial preferences and occupational profiles.
• Ability to manage high transaction volumes and smaller ticket sizes while maintaining high spread margins.
• Excellent analytical skills to assess risk and ensure portfolio quality.
