Regional Sales Manager – India & Middle East

About the role

Baker Hughes is seeking a highly motivated Regional Sales Manager to lead growth of its valves and rupture disc business across India and the Middle East. The role focuses on customer acquisition, revenue expansion, margin improvement, and market penetration.

Key responsibilities

• Drive direct sales and order intake for valves and rupture discs in the assigned regions.
• Develop and execute regional sales plans aligned with growth and profitability targets.
• Target EPC opportunities, including MRO, replacement, revamp, shutdown, OEM, and package vendor projects.
• Manage and grow relationships with key end‑users, OEMs, distributors, and channel partners.
• Identify new customers, expand existing accounts, and strengthen channel effectiveness.
• Lead commercial negotiations, support pricing strategy, and protect margins.
• Track market trends, competitor activity, pricing dynamics, and customer requirements.
• Provide accurate forecasts, pipeline updates, and inputs for regional business planning.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical preferred).
• 6–10 years of sales experience with valves, rupture discs, or pressure safety products.
• Proven background in industrial direct sales, EPC business, end‑user engagement, and channel management.
• Experience selling to markets in India and the Middle East.
• Strong understanding of valve applications, rupture disc technology, industry standards, and customer buying behavior.
• Exposure to refining, chemical, petrochemical, and oil & gas sectors.
