Regional Operations Manager – Mumbai

About the role

The Regional Operations Manager will lead the establishment and continuous improvement of our branch network in Mumbai. Reporting to the Operations Head, you will ensure seamless day‑to‑day operations, drive business continuity, and uphold high standards of customer service across all touchpoints.

Key responsibilities

• Set up new branches and execute continuity planning for existing locations.
• Provide necessary infrastructure and technology to support operational teams.
• Recruit and onboard talent with relevant experience in operations, banking and lending.
• Conduct BCP drills, prepare quarterly BCP reports and test business continuity capabilities.
• Manage the full credit operations lifecycle – from post‑sanction processing to disbursement, documentation, and post‑disbursement servicing.
• Act as escalation point for critical customer complaints and authorise high‑value or complex transactions.
• Oversee pre‑disbursement activities, ensuring documentation complies with internal standards and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and issue sanction letters, amendment letters and ROI communications.
• Coordinate legal and security documentation delivery to business teams.
• Monitor post‑disbursement fund management, follow up on outstanding items and resolve escalations.

Required profile
